Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one cornerstone of modern brain diagnostics. Fascinated by the level of anatomic detail of state-of-the art MR images and stimulated by the vibrant atmosphere of Berlin, we have asked a young art student to work on one sagittal MR image, extract its beauty and open new perspectives for reading MR images.
